Missions-based social campaign to earn $CLEO tokens
So, let’s get into it.
An Exciting New Project
We’ve been busy preparing and launching the support of HSBC’s efforts during Sustainability Week. This is an educational programme for a global internal audience at HSBC that covers the corporation’s sustainability efforts and measures. Not only have we delivered the platform that the education is based on, we have also assessed everything involved in the campaign, like the live webinars available, on-demand video content, the web streams, the web build, hosting, quizzes, prizes. With over 10 tonnes of carbon offset being applied, it means we are in fact carbon net negative for the whole campaign. This is a timely opportunity to remind you that Cleo can provide a fully managed service that delivers an effective marketing campaign or engagement piece, culminating in something good for the planet. That is, we’re not just about the offsetting sustainability at the end of the campaign.
Zebu Live
We attended Zebu live last week (with a lot of merch). It was a great event and a big opportunity to network with partners and media players while meet interesting people across two amazing days. The event was absolutely buzzing so if you can ignore the sentiment on X (aka Twitter) and look at the people and companies out there who are building (we put Cleo very squarely in this category), then there are some very exciting things happening.
We want to tell you about the four key takeaways for us that we consider to be the big narratives.
Sustainability and the opportunity that taking a decentralized, digital approach provides
SocialFi – the idea of earning in a social network. More to come on this.
AI. It’s hard to escape it at the moment.
Gaming. What struck us most here is the particular focus on the quality of the gaming experience above everything else. It’s all about experience first, token and commerce second, which is how it should be. Make it a great experience and the rest will follow.
AMAs
Jason’s been on the AMA scene with two done this week. Aside from the obvious question – who are Cleo – there are 5 key questions that people want to discuss.
So, who are we? Let’s recap
Cleo is a sales and marketing technology platform that allows people to generate revenue using good as an incentive. We utilize the blockchain and NFT technologies to scale, provide transparency and deliver proof of execution of the good, whether that’s retiring carbon or planting trees. Now, we’ve talked a lot in other videos about the plentiful applications behind that, so we have programs like Marketing for Good where brands can use good as an incentive to generate leads. We’ve got Schools for Good where schools can use good as an incentive to sell digital collectibles to friends and families of pupils so they can meet ESG goals. We have Sports for Good, which is incredibly exciting because of the two programs we’ve embedded already. One is about helping sports organisations reach their ESG goals through the release of intellectual property. The other is about helping children who are facing food insecurity in their local communities.
We’ve been doing this from the back-end forward by engaging large brands with programmes and campaigns that help to drive our narrative and vision. Our grander vision, however, is to be the global place where individuals come to either donate their time through consumption of content or donate their money for a social or environmental cause that they feel passionate about. Something that makes positive impact accessible, measurable, and helps to make a more conscious and purposeful society that’s actively collaborating. So, we’re on a road to become the consumer app where people get the good done and have a verified reward.
Ok, that’s out the way. So what are the top 5 questions we get asked?
How do we define the good?
What is our development status?
How can we differentiate the Cleo token?
Why web3?
Why did we choose Polygon?
If you want to know the answer to these, well, take a look at the video (hint, head to 12 minutes in).
And Finally – WIN some $CLEO
Finally, a big announcement for anyone interested in the $CLEO token. We’ve progressed along the launch path (Jason talks more about this in the video) and there’s a chance to earn and win $CLEO tokens by taking part in our mission-based social game. To find out more, visit our medium channel here.
