Cleo Weekly Update 17

Welcome to update number 17. Things are heating up on our side with some exciting developments brought to you by Jason this week.

So, where to start? Firstly, let’s touch on our web presence. Currently, our website is quite corporate and talks about our business and the services we offer in some detail. For those of you following Cleo, you’ll know we’re built on the blockchain and we don’t have a web presence that’s dedicated to the web3 side of our business. Being built on the blockchain gives us a rapidly scalable global infrastructure. With that comes a consistent unit of value, the $CLEO, which means we have interesting tokenomics that we want to talk about. So, we’re fixing that and are currently building a web site dedicated to all of these elements. Stay tuned and we’ll update you as soon as it’s ready.

Something that affects that, our digital presence in general and the look and feel of the Cleo brand is the new brand design we’re developing. We’ve toyed with the idea of a brand creative refresh for quite a while but we didn’t feel the design ideas considered so far have quite hit the mark. We’re not purely about the planet, Cleo is about doing good deeds in our everyday lives. This may, of course, create something positive for the planet, but it’s not purely environmental, it can be societal too. So, we didn’t want to go down the planet, mother earth, environment route in the way we apply our brand creative.

So, take a look at the video to get a preview of our new bee creative. We’ve chosen the mighty but humble bee to represent the Cleo brand because it’s a great metaphor for what we do. Cleo is about doing good things everyday that also happen to have a positive side impact. Marketing for Good, for example, isn’t primarily about helping the planet, it’s about reducing our customers’ cost per lead, improving their marketing engagement and ultimately helping their marketing dollars go further. The amazing side benefit is that it happens to do that while helping them to be net zero with their marketing campaigns. A bee is very similar. Its job is to make honey. But it completes that task while providing some amazing side benefits, like pollinating flowers and plants that we need to survive.

Anyway, there’s more to come on the story of our new brand. To finish this week, we have some really exciting news. We are close to confirming three excellent launch pads for the CLEO token and are going through pre-approval for our target exchange. The upshot of this is our Token Generation Event (TGE) should happen in October. It’s vital that we get to that. The funds raised from our TGE will help us with our community strategy, our impact investing fund DAO and help us to scale, with Asia being a big target for us. So, exciting times ahead.

Jason is travelling next week. We’re a Dubai-based business and Jason will be there attending to some company admin, meeting potential customers and investors. So, we will likely skip next week’s update due to scheduling but should be back with more exciting announcements in a couple of weeks.
