Cleo Weekly Update 11
Another busy one in the life of Cleo. In this update, Jason discusses four major activities we have been working on this week.
Firstly, we have been conducting interviews for advisory council members. Remember, we have a commitment to invest 5% of gross revenue into an impact investment fund, with the community having a say in how the funds are used. An independent council is really important to Cleo to steer that effort, and review and select climatech projects and provide governance for partners involved in executing the good initiatives. We’ve identified and approached a chair person and a potential vice chair person, as well as additional council members.
We have continued engaging with exchanges and launch pads, with a potential launch in September or August depending on market conditions.
We have been preparing a new client campaign and are talking to a couple of others around carbon offset related to attending physical events. It’s a really interesting analogue use case for a very progressive and digital, web3 platform.
We’ve been creating more content for our marketing efforts including a video detailing how the Marketing for Good offering works in reality.
Jason also talks about how Cleo is not just a marketing and lead generation platform but also offers different programs, such as Schools for Good, Sports for Good and Arts for Good. He reports on plans to revise the Cleo website and whitepaper to reflect the revenue opportunities in these areas.
