Cleo Weekly Update 12
This week, we bring another update and a change too. For those regular viewers/readers, you’ll be familiar with our Marketing for Good proposition. We continue to chip away at developing how that proposition works and getting it in front of prospective new customers too (very large brands in some cases).
Introducing a New Service
So, the change this week is a different service emphasis - Cleo: Sports for Good. This is one of the core alternative programmes we’re bringing to market that leverages the capability of the Cleo platform to bring new opportunities to a different industry - global sports. Essentially Cleo is designed to upload intellectual property, turn that into a digital collectible and allow clubs to sell those to their fans.
For Sports for Good, we've developed a healthy pipeline, talking to sports clubs about how they might release intellectual property to help them meet their ESG goals. So far, while there's a definite football bias in the conversations we’re having, it isn't just about football. Any sports club, organization or even individuals will be sat on a wealth of intellectual property that their fans would love to engage with.
Connecting them to ESG goals is a simple step with Cleo, but that’s not all. Some clubs we're talking to want to use our technology to raise funds for other causes, whether that's a foundation related to a previous player or a different charity to the ones we’re currently partnering with. For us, that’s no problem - we can plug any kind of good into the backend.
In addition to Sports for Good, in this episode Jason also covers questions from our Discord channel, in particular the Cleo token launch and the promotional activities we’re doing to support that.
As usual, the video is available on our YouTube channel, and you can watch it in full here.
