Cleo Weekly Update 13

Welcome to our latest company update. Last time out, we covered Sports for Good in quite some detail, so this week, Jason’s hit the pause button to recap on what we’re about at Cleo. And, there’s a whistlestop update of what we’ve been up to recently so you can see the progress we’re making. More information is in the video on our YouTube channel here.

As you know, our vision is to be a global platform that empowers organizations and individuals to seamlessly integrate sustainable innovation into their everyday life and business. We want to deliver digital actions that have a meaningful and positive impact. That makes us a little bit complicated to describe because we're not actually one thing.

In fact, we’ve built a system on the Polygon blockchain to deliver sustainable innovation and environmental responsibility. So, we're providing an opportunity for businesses, sports clubs (professional and amateur), sports people, schools and artists to be able to leverage intellectual property to contribute towards climate goals or support charities or do some social justice. So, we make it possible to digitise intellectual property that all of these entities can turn into an income that goes towards something good.

Being built on the blockchain means this is backed by transparency and scalability, which is perfect for doing good for the planet. But that’s not all we’re about. We are also talking to charities that want to use our system to help fundraise. And, we're talking to some rather large customers too who have very specific projects that they want to raise funds for through Cleo.

We’ve concluded our first-ever Marketing for Good campaign on the platform with Lenovo. Find out how it went.

  • We have our second Marketing for Good campaign in the pipeline, this time with Google’s Cloud division. Not a bad couple of clients to get going with!

  • Marketing for Good will get a reboot. We’re working on v2.0 to ensure the process for getting customers through the platform is as smooth as possible.

  • In Schools for Good, we've got 20 schools that we're talking to in order to start something in the new year. Our target is to get 50 through in year one.

  • Sports for Good has a new promotional video and we’ve had three meetings in the last week with large professional football clubs here in England.

  • We're working a new program called Art for Good and we’re delighted to announce our first artist, the amazing Adam Polina. Adam is a Marvel artist who's doing a fantastic collection around five key pieces of art, each with its own rarity where funds will go towards building schools in Nepal. The artwork is amazing, so we’ll reveal more in due course.

  • We’re working on Cleo for You. This is based on the idea that an individual will be able to set up either a salary sacrifice or a monthly fixed recurring amount to make a climate contribution through the platform.
